Privacy policy
Effective date: 6 September 2026
1. Who we are and what this covers
WebAccez is operated by veriflowlabs. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you request a free scan, create an account, or use the service, and how we use, store, share and delete it. It applies to webaccez.com and the WebAccez application.
2. Free scan requests
When you request a free scan of a website, we collect:
- your email address, so we can send you the report you asked for;
- the website URL you submitted and the results of scanning it;
- your IP address, used for rate limiting and abuse prevention, for example stopping one person from requesting unlimited scans or scanning sites en masse.
We use this data to email you your scan report (a transactional email), and to send up to two follow-up emails about your results, which are marketing emails. The follow-ups stop automatically: there is no ongoing sequence unless you explicitly subscribe to something else. Every marketing email we send contains a working unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing suppresses all further marketing email to your address; it does not block the scan report you asked for, because that report is the service you requested.
Free-scan reports and the associated lead data are kept for 30 days, then deleted. The data is stored in our database, and the emails are sent through our email delivery provider.
3. Account data
When you create an account we store your email address, the websites you add, and the results of scanning them (pages found, accessibility issues, scores, scan history, and any notes or statuses your team records). We use this data to run the service you are paying for: scheduled scans, dashboards, reports, alert emails and team features. Workspace members you invite can see the workspace’s sites and scan data; that is what inviting them is for.
4. Display preferences stay in your browser
The accessibility and display preferences in Settings (text size, contrast, motion, link underlines) are stored only in your browser (localStorage). They are never sent to us and we cannot see them. Clearing your browser data resets them.
5. Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe, our payment processor. We never hold or see your card details. They go directly to Stripe, and we store only what we need to manage your subscription, such as your plan, its status, and Stripe’s reference identifiers.
6. Cookies
We use only the cookies the service needs to function: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and the cookies our payment processor and our anti-bot check set to take a payment and to tell a person from a script. These are what the law calls strictly necessary, which is why you are told about them rather than asked to consent to them.
We run no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers and no analytics of any kind. There is no pixel, no tag manager and no session recorder on this site. If that ever changes we will ask for your consent before setting anything, and nothing non-essential will load until you agree.
7. Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share data only with the processors that run the service on our behalf: our hosting and database provider, our authentication provider, our payment processor, and our email delivery provider. Each processes data under its own contractual obligations to us, and only to provide its service. Ask us and we will name every one of them . We simply do not publish the list. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
8. Retention and deletion
Free-scan data is deleted after 30 days, as described above. Account and scan data is kept while your account is active so your history and trends keep working. You can delete individual sites (and their scan data) in the app at any time. To delete your account and its data entirely, contact us at the address below and we will action the request; some records, such as invoices, may be retained where the law requires it.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us and we will honour these requests as the law requires. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Changes and contact
If we materially change this policy we will notify account holders by email or in the app before the change takes effect. Questions or requests about your data: support@webaccez.com. See also our terms of service.
